On April 16th, in order to explore the transformation and innovation paths of industrial policies under the new pattern of globalization, The International workshop on Structural Transformations, Industrial Policy and Innovation, jointly organized by the Institute of Public Policy (IPP), the School of Business Administration (SBA) of South China University of Technology and Italy’s National University Center for Applied Economics Studies (CiMET) of Italy, was successfully held in the Automotive Technology Building of South China University of Technology.
Nearly 30 scholars from China and Italy engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as the reconstruction of global value chains, the enhancement of industrial resilience, and technological innovation strategies, providing diverse perspectives for policy-making and industrial practice in the post-globalization era.
Guo Hai, the executive dean of IPP, Professor Huang Manli, the vice dean of the School of Business Administration of South China University of Technology, and Marco R. Di Tommaso, the director of CiMET, respectively delivered speeches as representatives of the organizers for this conference.
